Exactly. Not dragging Hentz bc she probs covers court the best but I'm pretty sure the top 10 liberos in the NCAA are asked to cover a lot of court defensively...heck White basically passed 80% of the court. Yea but who does it the best ? Courtney Pence

Natalie Hagglund was considered at one point the libero that will fill the void in USNT but we all know what happened. Hentz has immense potential but she has to play her card well if she decides to go pro.

Also the ranking is based on one of the weirdest passing formulas I've seen: (perfect passes - errors)/total receptions. It's a basic efficiency, like with hitting or serving. Knowing the likelihood of a perfect pass has some value. I understand what an efficiency equation is, thanks. I’ve never seen serve reception scored that way but maybe I haven’t been paying enough attention.

Wasn’t there a video comparing Lake/Hentz about this... Yes a video of the worst stats ever out up by hentz. The poster clearly chose a match hentz wasn’t on her game. I’d love to see that Same account do another video comparing them in the semis when it mattered. There was a lot of talk after the BYU/Stan match in August how Lake was better than Hentz. That’s why he chose this match. No conspiracy. Lake was the best libero that match. Hentz was the best libero in their semi final match. BYU would finally get a ball past the block, and Hentz would dig it. She was incredible that weekend. They are both really, really good.

Anyone know the status on Ajanaku? Is she injured again? She already lost about three years of competitive volleyball. I don’t think she will come back.

Not really VNL related but looks like a lot of youth are training in Anaheim... Brionne Butler spotted, Rhamat Alhassan has thrown a location on her story that is in Anaheim... I hope they can make a roster of some sort this summer. Or if anything for Brionne, come back to Texas on a whole new level.

Does anyone think SSS has a shot at setting the national team? Wouldn’t she be a really good fit for Karch’s fast system? I know shonot the most physical but she makes up for it with her speed and location.

There seems to be A LOT of girls in the gym this summer, I love seeing it. Seems out of the norm but something refreshing. I think I may have seen a glimpse of Sherridan Atkinson as well in one of the videos.

I didn't get a chance to watch the matches in full this week (highlights only), but how would we "grade" the players who actually played?
From what I've gathered: Outsides - Kingdon trending down, Wilhite as expected, if not a bit better, Foecke with a slow start to passing, but steadily improved, Lee N/A OPP - Drews started strong and didn't keep it up, but still better than last season, Thompson lived up to praise S - Poulter still learning system, but good start, Hancock and Carlini ? L - Courtney is really good, worth considering moving Robinson back to OH, if we haven't already MB - Rettke lived up to hype and, even though stats might not show it, played very well, Chiaka as expected, Tapp underwhelmed, but still serviceable, Washington exceeded expectations
I could be very wrong on any of these, so curious to hear if anyone who watched can provide more info
