Thanks, but thereโs already a post for this tragic event.

How were you able to combine all posts in one thread related to this news?

How were you able to combine all posts in one thread related to this news? One of the mods probably did it. If any of us laypeople are able to do, hell, I'd be very busy merging one thread after another, wreaking havoc.

A 2018 study of news reports showed that between October 2011 to November 2017, there were 259 selfie deaths in 137 incidents reported globally, with the highest occurrences in India followed by Russia, United States, and Pakistan.

RIP. This reminds me of a recent case of a tourist plunging to his death at the Grand Canyon after he slip and fell. I might be wrong, but if I remember correctly, he was in the process of taking a photo or selfie when he lost his balance. Don't want to sound too harsh with these tragic cases, but what happened to common sense and being aware of your surroundings when taking photos? Or are people too wrapped up in their social media lives to notice what's going on around them and where they are stepping?

And then there are people who try to take photos of lions in African safaris. Doesn't happen a lot but enough that made it into youtube videos.
