Who has the hardest pool? We shall not forget this is a full field. Ateam is much better than that French team but it could be interesting because Aline and Jupiter are going to bang balls and Klineman's value as a blocker seems to be that she makes shots more difficult moreso than she shuts down big swingers the way Kerri or Joanna can do. If she can put he clamps on France it should be a breeze, but if she is her normal space blocking self, could be a little interesting. Someone involved in seeding is the biggest Spaes fan there is except for whoever it is that makes up Summer/Sara's pools. The charmin soft draws both teams keep getting makes the Kerri/Brooke run even more impressive. In the entire history of Spaes and the last 6 Summer/Sara events, there has been one difficult pool (Spaes had a monster with Sude and Ana). In contrast, in Kerri/Brooke's last 5 events, after playing CQs and qualifiers, they had these teams in their pools MHPavs Ateam Mariafe/Clancy twice Brazil (Barbara/Fernanda)

This Polish team is awful. Slaes doing something odd, Kelly is serving a standing floater and lining up behind Sponcil so she can only serve the left sider (otherwise she couldnt get to the net). Doesnt make sense to give away who you are serving when all you would need is Sarah to take a step left.

Sarah tries that stupid front bump over on 2 and gives up 18-14 in the second on it, probably the end of that game and for what? She put it right in the net but if it went over it was getting dug. Just never do that, its garbage

Pavan and MHP having no fun out there today. Not sure if it is the heat or if there is some behind-the-scenes stuff going on but they haven't looked in it in either match today.

The number of times Pavan and MHP have an open net and hit it right at the other team is astounding. Bansley/Brandie drop the first set to Brazil too.

Kelly and Sarah finally win it. That was a pathetic showing by Claes, did anyone see their first game? It looked like the heat was really getting to her (and a number of these athletes) so her actions were all to conserve energy. Which I understand but if it’s to the point that you’re gonna loss the game then why bother play?? And now they get a day off tmr for topping their pool I think so it should’ve been extra motivation for her to work hard the entire game. Sarah really helped get her focused at the end of that 3rd game.
On the bright side, she listened to Sarah for all her shots and reduced her hitting errors. Lol

Claes has all the skills and length needed to be a solid FIVB main draw player, but what is up with her body language?? She looks like it’s either 100 degrees out there or she recently had a childhood pet pass away, and the lackadaisical nature leads to those passing woes. Still, the team doesn’t let many balls drops and good on them for getting a bye at a 4 Star. Seems like they may cement themselves at least points wise as USA 3, though the path to breaking the top two seems much harder.

I think it’s really hot out there! Every game I have watched I thoughts player was mad or something based on their body language but I think it’s the heat
