Wow..Just think after this tournament I was prepared to hand the ATEAM the Tokyo Gold with absolutely no doubt. Larsen and Stockman taking on revenge. I believe this is their first win against my girls. Happy for Kelly & Em!!! Who were they serving??

They had the roughest draw of all the US teams too. Uno dos seemed like it was in play at the start of this event. Great job by them. Beaten two top 10 teams, a third good team and the 2016 gold medalist and havent lost a set

I thought after their loss to S&S, they started playing a bit more angry/fierce, even in their loss to ATeam in NYC. I didn't watch this match, does it still seem that way?

I only saw snippets but they just played solid and let April/Alix beat themselves. They made some plays and Stockman was steady

Refer to the men’s thread 😂 I’m all for Larsen/Stockman for the remaining of this tournament. They are THE ONLY USA team standing, men’s or women’s. Depressing right.

Also, I saw a VERY uninspired Agatha & Duda...Something needs to give with this team. Brazil is really wasting Duda’s talents on this partnership in my opinion.

No more CQ for them!

Right off the bat, Emily and Kelley jumped off to a 7-1 lead and never looked back. The second set was tighter but Duda hit the last ball out to give Emily and Kelley the match.
When it ended, Emily and Kelley couldn’t even believe what just happened. They could not believe they made it to the finals.
Good luck! Let’s go USA!

Australia played ok, but gave up an 8 point lead in the 2nd before finishing but Brazil just played a dumb, dumb, dumb match. Mariafe is a nice player but the reason that team is in the top 10 is Clancy. She is a monster and can put balls away against anyone. So why serve her so often? If you believe in yourself you have to think you can win off Mariafe and they were scoring off her easily in the parts I saw.
USA is back! This is close to the best we have been since the first time another country overtook us (Jackie/Sandra). We lack an absolutely dominant team, but we now have 4 teams that could make a final of a big event (5 depending on how you view Slaes)

Other than Betsi/Em in the CQ no team has even given them a challenge, straight two gamers every match and Walsh/May scores too!
