Ok. Just a for fun full table prediction based on rosters. Don't shoot me if your favorite team isn't where you think it should be. 1. China 2. USA 3. Brazil 4. Russia 5. Netherlands 6. Dominican Republic 7. Japan 8. Serbia 9. Korea 10. Argentina 11. Cameroon 12. Kenya I feel like China, USA, Brazil and Russia are putting up their strongest line-ups they can (injuries/eligibility/scheduling) with China holding nothing back. I feel like for Netherlands, Japan, Dominican Republic and Serbia it will just depend on who has the better tournament and any team could be as high as 4th maybe even 3rd if they play clean and clinical volleyball. Korea could make a push into the middle of the pack but that will depend on how often KYK plays. Argentina should beat the African teams. Kenya/Cameroon should be at the bottom of the table. It would be amazing if by 2028 one of these CAVB teams could at least rise to the level of being competitive with some of the lower/mid-tier teams from other federations. Just some thoughts.....now i'm off to play some sand VBALL :-) See ya'll when I get back! Please share your thoughts and maybe how you think the table will look at the end of the tournament!? Not only do Goncharova and Sloetjes need to be on it, but they will also need help from others. I could see Japan surprising some teams, this new ball was designed for their style of play. They brought the U20 MVP so it'll be interesting to see how she does against this higher level of competition not to mention the bigger block. I think Korea's goal for this tournament is to get their other players some quality training in order to prepare for the Asian Qualifier. Thailand is expected to host the tournament and we all know much pride their fans have, the gym will be loud and full of emotions. I don't know if you heard or read, but KYK and Nootsara had a recent falling out. There certainly is something going on, but the details on the situation are still vague. 1/2. China / USA (It could go either way) 3. Brazil 4. Russia 5. Japan 6. Netherlands 7. Serbia 8. Dominican Republic 9. South Korea 10. Argentina 11. Cameroon 12. Kenya

They certainly seemed close, but I have only ever seen speculation of them being together on L Chats on various forums, and those are famously unreliable (but then again, there are cases where there was only speculation in those circles, but where it seemed to be true or at least likely to be true, for instance Carli Lloyd and Jovana Stevanovic).

I had a feeling there was something more to it. Things were awkward between them during the Asian Championship last month. For Kim it must be hard especially in Korean culture which is more strict than the open and loving Thai. Nootsara seemed so heartbroken, a lot of her recent posts have been about being postive and moving on, etc. Her teammates have been strongly supportive and by her side throughout this ordeal. It's going to be even more tough when only one of them makes it to the Olympics.
