Netherlands roster S: Dijkema, Bongaerts OPP: Sloetjes OH: Balkestein, Buijs, Plak, Daalderop, M. Jasper MB: De Kruijf, Belien, Lohuis, Koolhaas L: Schoot, Knip This could get ugly. Morrison waits until the final week to unleash DeKruijf on us. This will test us. A team at full strength. Turkey was not at full strength. Brazil too was not a full strength. The Dominicans too were not at full strength with out Castillo. Though we played ok against a sloppy Russian team that same level of play will not be enough against the Dutch. We need more production from everyone except MBH. I’m hopeful but slightly optimistic

I’m hopeful but slightly optimistic I see Karch maybe giving our bench some playing time in our next two matches considering we’ve already qualified for the finals. Also, I don’t know what Morrison is trying to prove using his best line up in the final week when they’re out of the running for a spot in the finals?

Perhaps a morale/confidence boost if they beat the USA

To be fair The Dutch, Russians and Serbians did blow off this tournament and for good reason. This years international schedule for those three teams is daunting to put it lightly. 4 major tournaments. However I feel like Morrison might have waited too late to get all of these vets in here. Should have done it back in week 3 so they could have had 9 games worth of playing. The IOQT is the first week in August. The Dutch need a win against Italy there or it’s a harder road to the OG through CEV continental qualification. Italy is looking in much better shape than the Dutch IMO.....

If The Netherlands is bringing in its top guns, I hope we see today's lineup again. Today felt like as close to the expected Tokyo roster as we'll see in the VNL. Enough of them are still slightly wet behind the ears on the international stage. So, bring it on
