Poll has been cleared out and updated with current prospects as I could not find a way to edit the poll.

My roster has really solidified over the past month and a half or so, and I know it matches quite a few others. I think it's beginning to look clear in a lot of places, barring injury.
S: Carlini, Poulter OH: Larson, Robinson, Hill, MBH MB: Akinradewo, Ogbogu, Dixon OP: Thompson, Drews L: JWO
I think the most likely on that list to not make the roster are Dixon and JWO. Foluke due to her pregnancy. Maybe Drews, but I think she's clearly ahead of Lowe. If any of the other 8 are not on the roster I would be borderline stunned.

There should be a lot of opportunity in the next quad at OH. And, this is where you have to start...Who is on the roster today? Who do you think will be on the roster 4 years from now fighting for a roster spot in Paris. You can't expect Larson to still be in the mix in 2024. Robinson, MBH and Hill will all be as old, or older, than Larson is right now come 2024. Who knows if they'll still be in the gym, or playing at a high enough level. If they are, then 2024 is probably pretty clear where you throw Foecke in with MBH, Robinson and Hill.
As to the next generation, you have Foecke, Wilhite-Parsons, Kadie Rolfzen, Plummer, Lee and Jones-Perry in the gym this summer. Aside from Foecke, all of those had serious growing pains, and I am not sure what the ceiling is for any of them. Lee always shows the most promise as an attacker, but struggles passing.
For Thayer Hall, I haven't seen her play as much this year. But, she's got to stay healthy. And she will have to prove a capable passer. She has a heavy arm, which certainly helps. I am trying to think of who else in college right now at the OH position would be in the mix for 2024 or beyond. Pressley, Eggleston, Temi Thomas-Ailara are the names that jump out at me. We will see what Kendall Kipp does the rest of the year. I don't think any of them passes well enough right now, but whether they will in 4 years or not is the bigger question. I guess Hall is as well positioned as anyone in the next generation.

I think Hall is the best passer out of those you listed so hopefully that pushes her in.

I can't see karch not taking hill, but I think based off her limited performance, unless she is doing something else in practice, she doesn't deserve it rn. She was pretty good at imoco, took a break before coming to USA and was never played much, didn't do that great when she was played. Foecke showed promise over the summer, but I don't know how well she will develop by 2020 summer. She wasn't ready with her sill level at vnl for Tokyo, but no one was expecting her to be. Plummer didn't get a whole lot of looks in the pan am group, but karch must be saying / seeing something because a college player does not come out and say they graduating early to try for the olympics without some sort of serious convo with the coach. The 4th OH spot, 2nd OPP spot, and 3rd MB spot are all up for grabs it seems. Possibly the libero spot although I like jwo and Courtney

I agree a bit on Hill. It would not shock me if she wasn't on the roster, but it would surprise me. In part because I think she's well ahead of Foecke who is well ahead of everyone else. Unless you only take 3 OH and add a 4th middle or something, I can't imagine Hill not being there.

I'm not sure I'm going as their fashion trends intimidate me. I will just be the bland American in a sea of hip young people who wear trendy clothes ...

I think Foecke is one OH who could make Tokyo. I think 4 make it. Barring injury Larson, Robinson, MBH, and Hill. If Foecke can improve here serve/receive at this level and can be a reliable scorer then I think she has a shot. MBH and Hill at times look rough in serve/receive. If that is still the case next year and Foecke makes the jump she could be an option.

I believe Foecke is more terminal an attacker than MBH and Hill, but she definitely needs the reps, especially in the back court. I was surprised she wasn't on the last roster, but then I understand that you have evaluate MBH and Hill to see if they are able to fill the other OH spot if they rest Larson.

The catch with Foecke is she still wants to attend Vet school. I know I can't answer for her personally but she may not be around for the next quad.
