AAC Update:
Tulane (3-0) had cupcakes for the season opener and swept them all. The first team they'll play with a pulse is Missouri State next week.
UCF (1-1) in a battle with Ole Miss
Cincinnati (2-1)
Tulsa (1-2)
Temple (3-0) swept the UMBC Tournament away.
SMU (2-1)
Wichita State (2-1)
South Florida (2-0) won a 5-setter at Ball State to cap off their 2-match weekend. Good start for the Bulls.
Memphis (3-0) has a very soft OOC schedule which will help the AAC if they don't challenge the top, which I think they wont. They'll help the AAC at-large picture if they keep winning. Beating Drake was a little surprising.
UConn (1-2)
Houston (0-4) took tough losses
ECU (0-0) will play Sunday.

The AAC just took a major hit today.
Tulane, inexplicably, just lost to Southeastern Louisiana at home in 5 sets. Wow.

That’s a terrible loss for Tulane. Wonder if they are healthy or what. Big weekend of matches for the AAC!

47 kills in 10 sets is 3.00 kills per set?
Do they teach math in the AAC?

The AAC exceeded expectations this week.
I still am at a lack of words as to how Southeastern Louisiana pulled it off, but Tulane rebounded to beat Missouri St, & they demolished Houston Baptist 25-4 in one set.
Two big games for the AAC today:
Ole Miss at Tulane Kansas at UCF
Houston had a really big week. They won all four matches! Temple is 6-0, winning at American. Cincinnati took care of Tennessee but it looks like they are struggling in double game days, falling to Sparty. Wichita State had a tough weekend but salvaged a win. Memphis keeps winning as well. Tulsa could have put up a better fight vs. South Dakota, but at least they took down the host ‘Roos. South Florida hurt the AAC the most this week. They lost a 5-setter in extras to auburn, and then lost two deuce sets to Miami before getting swept.
The AAC outlook is good. Next week is a really big deal for UCF who gets Marquette, Illinois, and Illinois State.
The AAC conference win % is super close to the Big Ten right now. Of course, it’s relative to the competition, but good for the conference!
