Overall the AAC might have won more than any other league this week. Waiting for the update. That Tulane loss hurt. They had match points in the 4th and also led 13-12 in the 5th. The setting got shaky and nerves played a factor. I imagine they’ll figure it out. Tulane MB Dinkins is really turning it on. I think UCF is the team to beat, followed by Cincy and Tulane, then Tulsa. My darkhorse is Temple.

Agree Temple looks much better than expected. Tulsa looks pretty good to. UCF is shaping into form. Cinci is always a threat via Thompson. Scores and stats for Tulane and Ole Miss are crazy. Tulane Up in every stat and a 89-71 pt difference. Tulane handled them 25-17, 25-15. And up 24-22 in 4th. 13-12 in 5th. Lost all 3 sets in extra points.
Another big week for the 2nd best conference record AAC!!

Yeah, they are crushing those 200-300 rpi teams........ It’s mid week local matches. Common. I bet NCState thought it was an easy one but the AAC strikes back. 🍢

Well, sadly the AAC takes its first loss of this week.
Houston falls at Baylor in Waco, 3-1.
At least Houston took a set, which is better than Marquette and equal to what Wisconsin did at home .........

Wichita State managed to take the first set from BYU, but then fell 1-3. 😢😢 Did you watch? How did they look if so? Lots of lineup changes I watched the first set streamed before getting myself over to see the SCU match live. According to azvb and @zazu, who I think watched the whole match, Wichita State's serve receive was actually worse than BYU, which is not a good endorsement for them, this season. I'm not sure how much of their first set win was just BYU being truly awful vs Wichita State playing well. (For reference, SJSU beat Wichita in 4 last week, and then lost to Santa Clara tonight in 4...SCU is presumably not the same caliber team as BYU...so that doesn't bode well for Wichita State.) After the first set, BYU gained momentum and Wichita State ended up hitting .111 for the match. They did hold BYU to .245, so that's a plus.)
