I don't even know the injury. Rumor is they are shooting for the start of ACC.

I believe she was injured during 18U club season and also part of last year at AU. May become a part time player. All those years of playing takes a toll.

watching them play Georgia right now. The setting situation needs a lot of work. The front line does put up a good block though as all their points second set are off of blocks.

She did get hurt towards the end of the season last year - ended up playing 67 sets over 21 matches.

Tough weekend. Friday night Wolfpack showed some serious moxy against LOU who has them out gunned. Taking them to 5 was not what DBK had in mind. Sunday was just some sloppy play on both sides again ND. Pack was point for point most of the way then silly mistakes and service errors late bit them. Pack was out of system way to much against ND. Rowland will be essential if this team wants to make any type of statement this year. She has played early in matches then pulled late (I assume as a precaution). McDonald struggled on Friday but looked much better on Sunday... freshman ups and downs are to be expected.

I think someone senses urgency and goes 3-0 or it is a scrappy 5 set battle.

This is a really big match for UNC. After a rough season last year and tough start this season beating the teams ranked below you will be essential. NC State is going to get better as the season progresses since they are young at some key spots, so UNC catching them now favors UNC.

UNC is also very young....closing has been a real issue. Up to 20 they have done well but getting to 25 first has been big.

Tough match ups this weekend with FSU & Miami. Pack needs to show some more heart to finish matches. 3 of the 4 ACC matches have gone 5 so there is some grit in there! But serve receive will be the key to stop long runs against them. Hoping Rowland is going to be out there soon.

Tough loss against FSU. NC State couldn't do much right and was out of system a lot against a good blocking team in FSU. Point for point in sets 1 & 3 then 4 point runs in each set killed them. Sunday was the exact opposite. Hit .303 with really strong passing. Having Frazier and Irvin in the back row is HUGE for this team. Blocked well and served aggressively. But now McDonald is hurt and Rowland has been red-shirted. Terry is the OH2 and that will be a process. 2-4 in the ACC (should be 3-3)

Outside pin and setting situation is a mess with this team. Yikes. Think they’ve been dealing with injuries on top of low performers. Such a shame. Don’t see much in-conference success coming from this squad from the remainder of the season unfortunately. Was rooting for them initially.
