There hasn’t been a long rally thus far. Mostly trading side outs so far.

April hits out and scores are tied 16-16. They had a two point lead for most of it. Hope they build it and get it back. They’re serving April and Sarah is getting the serves on her side.

Took off the block for the next one and ATeam ties it. 18-18

April gets a transition AND she hits out at the most critical point. They’re now down 19-20. ATeam calls timeout.

ATeam really having me on the edge of my seat. Up 2 points for most of this first set and now they’ll have to fight off Canada’s Set point.

Back from the timeout, ATeam gets a kill and Alix gets a timely ace so Canada calls their timeout.

Both of these teams are going to be completely gassed after this match! I honestly don’t mind who wins this one, it’s just like watching an FIVB match it’s not as exciting for me for some reason

April gets a dig but then she gets blocked by Sarah. That was really an important point.
Another one out of bounds from April and tables have turned. Canada back with set point. ATeam down 21-22.
Alix goes on two and ties up 22-22.
Alix pokeys over the other other side to take the lead once again. 23-22
April serves down middle but it’s out. 23-23
April sides out. 24-23. Let’s go!! One more point girls!
Alix serves and it touches the net but Sarah pushes it to the other side of the court just in time. 24-24
Mel serves April. A long rally with many pokeys and finally Alix wins on top the net with a pokey. 25-24

Even Kevin Barnett thinks momentum is with Canada.
ATeam needs to come out firing and hold on tight.

ATeam actually has more kills than Canada.
They lost because they have 3 more service errors and Pavan has 3 blocks. Alix has yet to get a single one.

April also needs to keep balls in bounds. Way too many hitting errors.
Phew that’s called in bounds.

5-2 lead diminishes to 5-4 with a Mel set kill followed by Alix getting blocked by Sarah...
