One thing that does have me excited for USC is a more competitive practice gym, particularly in terms of the MB and RS players. I do wonder who emerges as first off the bench between Schirmer, Weske, Owes, and Denny on the pins.... Last year Schirmer was the only option at points, wasn’t she? Will Couch find anything for Marina to do? If Bustamante take the L jersey, what will Adams do?

This thread cannot fall to page three after one day. Any thoughts on where the PAC teams showed up in the rankings?
Stanford #1 Oregon #11 Washington #13 USC #14 WSU #22 Arizona #24 RV: Utah, UCLA and Colorado
I think Cal, ASU and OSU will all be better than last year too! Need lots of OOC wins so we can get as many seeds and teams in!! I do love my team, but always want the other conference teams to do well with knowing players on each!

Don’t get how Arizona is ranked instead of Utah. Zona loses more, particularly Dahlke. Utah returns everybody. Even if this poll is based on last years results, Utah made it to second round, and Arizona lost in the first round last year

Choy was often subbed anyways. Plus she was a blocking liability. Not saying she’s not a good setter, but they’ll be fine with Sage, their other Hawaiian setter Scully left 2 years ago.....

I stopped reading after “White Claw variety pack.” C’mon, you live in Oregon, home of outstanding wines and microbrews, and you’re hitting the favored swill of U of O sorority girls?
It’s like I don’t even know you any more...

I actually brought this up in my Utah preview I often wondered why Utah wouldn't just stick with Choy in a 5-1, as I thought she ran the offense much better, but through her 3 years Utah kept on finding different ways to take her off the court. It makes me think that, at least from the coaching staff's perspective, she's not an irreplaceable loss.

I think USC may be slightly better than Oregon. Washington/Oregon is a toss up for me...it all depends on how Oregon's youth looks. I agree that Utah should be ranked over Arizona, and maybe even WSU.
