So far they aren't doing very well. 0-3 start to the season. I'm not sure that's entirely fair. They are an unranked mid-major who took two P5 schools to 5 sets. The letdown today against Louisville is not that surprising considering how much energy they expended last night. They get a couple more cracks at it next weekend against Missouri and Michigan. Good points. At the very least, they should be able to cruise to a victory against the Wolverines.

I'm honestly torn on this one Brutus Buckeye , I've been looking forward to it ever since the schedule was announced. It would be a bigger win for Dayton. I'm expecting a great match.

Dayton just won a 5-set thriller against Pittsburgh. It appears that Pitt played its starters the whole time. (25-21, 25-21, 22-25, 23-25, 19-17) Not true. All Pitt freshmen played, and several played multiple positions.

Replay - Dayton vs Louisville (9/1) - bprtbone Not the replay I really wanted to see.... Well Michigan doesn't believe in letting the fans watch it's matches.

Dayton went 2-1 this weekend, collecting victories against N Illinois and, most importantly, The Wolverines.

Tremendous atmosphere and a fantastic match last night at Hausfeld Court as Dayton downed Michigan in 5. Although I was wearing my Blue and cheering for the Wolverines, I was happy for the Flyers. It was a huge win for the program and sets them up well for the conference schedule and what looks to be an eventual postseason run. Jamie Peterson had the type of match that AA's are made of. What a fun night.

If Dayton had one more OH who could put the ball away- they could be really dangerous. They got stuck in the same rotation all night when Peterson rotates to middle back. Really impressed with their young libero Collins as well. Fun night in Dayton!

Dayton lost to SMUw, but rebounded by beating Kansas St and Missouri St.

At the Buckeye Inv, Dayton beat Illinois St and Miami.
Even though the Flyers had already defeated the Wolverines, they were unable to do the same to host Ohio St.
