Several years ago when the team lost in the tournament they hit the gym and worked hard all spring and summer to "prove" they were the best.
Is there any of that determination this year? Are they charging? or are they just tired of it all?
And...will the WAC teams that gave us some competition this year continue to improve in 05? Will we finally get the workouts we need during conference play to improve?

We will look back on this Wahine loss as a true turning point in our "Drive for 05" when the Wahine will dominate all things not Hawaiian.

I believe Kahea and Caroline Blood didn't make the trip to Green Bay as the travel rosters were limited to 15 players. So they brought the redshirts but didn't bring Kahea and Caroline?

So they brought the redshirts but didn't bring Kahea and Caroline? The redshirt scholarship players (Keefe and Thomas), yes. Kahea and Caroline are walkons but are not redshirting. I didn't see them in Wisconsin. I guess that's a tough choice to have to make, but the thinking must be that Keefe and Thomas have more of a chance of making an impact in the future than Kahea and Caroline had of making an impact in Wisconsin.

But what will their presence in Wisconsin have to do with the impact they would make in the future? They wouldn't play, anyway. Wouldn't it make more sense to bring the other two active players, even if they weren't under scholarship? As it turned out, UH could've used the help of either Kahea or Caroline or both.

Actually, even though Keefe and Thomas couldn't play in Wisconsin, just being in the game atmosphere of a game of that caliber is an experience alone. Dave wants Keefe and Thomas to get all the exposure to the game situation they can get. Even though they were only on the sidelines, it will help them gain experience in the future. Dave always takes his freshman on these trips to get them exposed to the big games atmospheres even though they don't play or redshirting.

Anyway, how will Jessica Keefe and Nickie Thomas fit into next season's lineup? The starters seem solid. Boogaard, Arnott and Hittle will be hard to edge out on the outside and they have three middles with plenty of big-game experience.

I think something else should be taken into account on why Keefe and Thomas went with the team rather than stay at home in Hawaii. One of the main reason why I think Keefe and Thomas was brought along, was more so for the starting line up to practice against a big block and a hitter with quite a few selection shots, something the teammates that stayed in Hawaii doesn't possess.

The reason Wisconsin won is because in the 1st two rounds they played Notre Dame and Loyola; two Catholic schools who layed down to publicly funded Badgers.
