This was Zhu Ting's return since her injury in the Club World Championship earlier this month.
According to the the Guangdong coach, Kosheleva didn't start due to a reoccurring shoulder injury.

Chinese Volleyball Association announced their NT schedule for next year. With the league ending next month, the national team will begin the first phase of training on February 1st. The first group of players will include youth, newcomers and returnees, players that the NT coaching staff think may have potential to make a surprise in Tokyo as well as those working towards Paris 2024. Main NT members will have time to rest and recuperate before joining training. The second phase of training will begin on April 20 where the team will go to Tokyo, Japan for an Olympic Test Match of the venue. Invited teams also include Thailand and Chinese Taipei. sports.sina.com.cn/others/volleyball/2019-12-25/doc-iihnzahi9843136.shtml

Beijing 2:3 Tianjin (23-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18, 5-15)
Beijing: Rourke 24, Dixon 16, Liu Xiaotong 16 Tianjin: Zhu Ting 29, Li Yingying 28, Hooker 15 Stats: cva-web.dataproject.com/MatchStatistics.aspx?mID=669&ID=37&CID=152&PID=76&type=LegListBeijing lost their starting setter who was injured in the last match. Not sure of the real reasoning MBH didn't play today, but I think that the coach wanted to go with Rourke since they can only have 2 foreigners on the court (Dixon being the other). Tianjin defeats Beijing and advances to the finals.

Receiving OPP who could run slides and hit from the back row. Did she play on the NT after London much? I don't recall

She played one more year with the NT for the 2013 Volleyball World Grand Prix then faded out as Lang Ping wanted more size in the national team.

Tianjin couldve closed this out in 3 had the coach not kept taking out Hooker mid way between the sets. She was scoring consistently and then he would take her out. in the 3rd set she finally came back in and started to score again.

She won the 2017 World Grand Champions Cup and 2019 World Cup with the NT. Albeit she was a bench player in both tournaments, but the matches she did play in both tournaments she did pretty well and scored quite a few points. She is still in the running for a Tokyo spot, although she face stiff competition and it is far from certain whether she will get one.

I'm pretty sure speegs13 was referring to Zhang Lei not Zheng Yixin. Though earlier this year Lang Ping did try to convert middle blocker Zheng Yixin (pictured above) to an opposite similar to Zhang's style at the Montreux Volley Masters which didn't work out.

Oh right, Zhang Lei. She's done as far as being in the NT is concerned. At 34, she is getting too old for China (that being said Yan Ni is 32 and still going strong for China, interestingly, Yan was a late bloomer, I think she won her first major competitions when she was already in her late 20's, unusual for China) If I remember correctly, Zhang Lei didn't spend too long on the NT, only around 3 years between 2010-2013.

Tianjin defeats Beijing and advances to the finals. It never made much sense to me why Beijing paid a good price to bring in MBH when Rachel Rourke was their best player and Dixon was returning for a 2nd year after a very successful 1st year. When MBH has played this season, she has often struggled.
