Enjoyed the show and realize Mick has been around the block several times, but I don’t think this committee is so narrow-minded to look strictly at RPI. Texas A&M and Rice hosting is wild, IMO. There are a lot of teams who would pay money to be part of sub-regionals at Hawaii, Rice, A&M, and Marquette.

Yes, and he seems to forget about the time a few years ago when Penn State was something like 25 (?) in the RPI but was given the last hosting spot.

A locked in Hawaii team playing in front of a sold out SSC will be tough to beat. That said, it’ll be a fun environment. Plus being in Honolulu in December is a treat.
