Has MBH been doing so poorly that she is sat down in this do-or-die match vs. Tianjin?

Has MBH been doing so poorly that she is sat down in this do-or-die match vs. Tianjin? In the last match she was 8/19 (42%) with 8 points. China has a rule where a team can only have 2 foreigners on the court, Dixon of course is one of the starters and for todays match they went with Rourke (Australia) instead of MBH.

It doesn't. She is still with Brescia.

If everyone is going to continue to include Foecke as someone who might actually help the NT in Tokyo then I might as well throw Lindsey Vander Weide, LVW from Oregon, into the mix. LVW is playing for Nantes in the French league, a team that is in the top 3 in league and also playing in CL. In Nantes recent CL match against Imoco LVW who starts all the time played a solid game. Her numbers are equal to or better then Foecke who is struggling to stay in the starting lineup.
Once the NCAA cloak of Power Five invincability is removed then the true measure of your skill is displayed through your performance in the Euruopean pro leagues. I don't see anyone beside JT, Rettke, and a true libero that can have a chance of making any impact on the USNT in Tokyo. The VNL, a triple AAA quality tournament can hide a coaches player evaluation weakness, especially when there are currently only two quality NT tournaments in four years. Karch needs to early on decide who his starting 7 is going to be and then just stay with them while they jell.
Let's hope that the flexibility that Karch displayed last season can carry over. He just may have waited too long to develop a top libero and OP. Drews certainly can't be considered an elite OP especially after she opted for a season in Japan after playing for a mid-level Turkish team unless spending a whole season doing what is already your strength will some how make you better. I'm partial to Hancock based on what she is doing for Novara. I think Karch should let her serve her style. Karch probably needs to put Larson out to pasture as a starting OH if he is serious about medaling.
The USNT is not short on talent. Now if we would just do like the Dutch and bring in Santarelli for Karch maybe we would have the chance for a gold. At the end of last season it seemed like Karch's relationship to his players had gone stale. Karch, better in the booth then on the bench.

She was really held back at Oregon with the setting problems.
