While being with the team they have had a good run in their domestic league. They sit 5th in the league with a 6/4 record but that was due to the teams poor performance in the first two games when she wasn't yet with the team. They also lost two other matches while she was starting, no doubt due to an adjustment period. Many on here (and I agree with them) think that going to Moscow was a mistake. The style of high ball offense that Russian teams run is counter-productive to the type of "low-fast" offense the USNT runs. During the Russian Cup, she was repeatedly benched or didn't start at all behind a very poor back-up setter. So she doesn't appear to be thriving with Dinamo Moscow. Which is not good going into the OG. It still remains to be seen if Poulter's run as starter during the World Cup was for training purposes or if she has indeed, against all odds, taken the starting setter position. I still think that Carlini will make the Olympic roster but whether she will be starting or not is still to be determined. Competition is a good thing as it makes the players work harder and I hope she continues to strive to be better. Her main criticism by some trolls on here is that her connection with the middle blockers in front on the A and B quick isn't good. Her sets to them on the slide are good because she sets the opposite very well. In fact...I think her setting behind her/over her head (to the right pin, on the slide and on the back 10/pipe/bic) is some of the best I have seen from any setter on the NT in quite a while. She also isn't afraid to really move the ball around which makes for a much less predictable offense. She is also the best blocking and defensive setter we have. She plays smart and has a really great volleyball IQ. She just reads the game very well. That should cover it all. I'm a fan of her and Poulter both. They are both young and hungry and could really take the USA to new heights in the coming quads. I agree with everything u said and I’m a huge fan of Carlini. But, is she really the best blocking setter we’ve had? She is a plenty good enough blocker, but I feel like Lloyd was a very strong blocking setter. Trust me, I’d take Carlini over Lloyd any day, but I think Lloyd may have been a better blocker Agree that Lloyd is a great blocker, might be better than Carlini. But among the current three NT setters (Carlini, Poulter, Hancock), Carlini is the clear front-runner at both block at floor defense.

SC Schweriner (ranked 1) is currently playing Aachen (ranked 4) team.
Maybe they're resting Pogany after playing the qualifications? But I'm glad JWO is playing the match nonetheless.
They are currently up 25-22, 25-19.

JWO's team SSC won. 3 sets. I'll bet JWO starts the rest of the season now that Germany aren't going to Tokyo. A lot of times coaches make political moves to develop players. I think that is what has been happening to Foecke in the Italian League, but with Degradi transferring to Brescia....Foecke will likely get more court time. Daalderop has been playing really well and earning her starting spot.

Foecke has not been playing well. 18% attack efficiency today for Firenze. I think they will go back to Santana.

I see Simone Lee is on the move to Germany. Do we know what team she will be playing for? Allianz MTV Stuttgart! She will be playing with fellow American's Jenna Rosenthal and Krystal Rivers. Not sure if she will be playing as an OH or as back-up OPP to Rivers.

I expect them to advance to the quarterfinals. They should also advance comfortably to the semis. From then on they will be up against the toughest opponents in the tournament. Most of the favorites landed in the bottom half of the bracket. Teams like Busto Arsizio, Saugella Monza and Dinamo Kazan.

Not USA related but Kosheleva just transferred to Lokomotiv Kaliningrad. This is first time since 2016 that she has played domestically. I wonder if this move means she will be rejoining the NT for the Olympics?!

Not sure if she will be playing as an OH or as back-up OPP to Rivers. I am sure she won't be a back up opposite as BYU alum OPP Jennifer Hamson is also on the team. Sadly... I love Hamson, wish she went to a team where she started. Rivers is obviously a fan favorite at Stuttgart because by time she done, she'll have been with the team for close to 5 years

remember her doing top spin JS during VNL 2018. When did they stop allowing Micha do her serves? Such a shame.
