I just needed to wait one more day lol.... I think it’s safe to say she has “arrived”. This will be the best team she has played for. Novara was good but this club has a long standing history of being one of if not THE best club team in the world. Congrats Michelle!

Babesinha, current starter setter, is definitely not weak. She was the starting setter for Russia in 2004 Olympics at the age of 20. If Carlini doesn't perform well, she doesn't play. She played in Olympics 16 years ago justifies she is not weak right now? She is as "bad" as, if not worse than, Carlini.

So, it's not suprise to see Carlini in the bench.

When it comes to another player, it doesn't apply? In professional volleyball leagues(especially in Russia, Turkey,Brazil...strict foreign limit), the foreigners are always favoured by coach. They pay to them a lot, much more than locals and mostly their back ups are not at the same level with them. But it's not the case with Carlini-Moscow, Babeshina is real deal. In Scandicci-Novara, Carlini's back up setters were not as good as Babeshina...

In Scandicci-Novara, Carlini's back up setters were not as good as Babeshina... If Babeshina were the real deal she would be in consideration for the Olympics. What we do know is that Ognjenovic left there saying it wasn’t a good experience and that the team was lazy and really only cared about winning the Russian league and didn’t care about Champions League at all. It’s quite possible that Carlini tried to push and motivate the team and she wasn’t able to. It’s just not a good fit for her. It’s unfortunate she isn’t able to impact Dinamo Moscow but she will still be setting the NT. At least she is at a lesser risk for injury this way. Is she developing? No. But I don’t see her game diminishing.

She made her debut yesterday against Energa Kalisz 0-3. She had 14 kills on 29 attacks and a 27 positive reception percent on 41 chances.

Hannah tapp numbers were crazy last season You are her only cheerleader boo. fair but also you can’t turn away the fact that she had quite a few matches with over 20 points. That’s very good production from a middle.
