St. John's in 5 and the only team to pull off an upset of a seeded team in the first round.

I really like TAMU (and Hollann Hans) but agree that St. John's looked good in the Big East tournament. Sweeping Creighton and beating Marquette (in four) shows that they're a tough opponent. I hope it's a good match (w no injuries).

Also hope that it's streamed nationally for free. I'm a bit concerned that there's no stream yet.

Who knows. Both teams seem to have a wide range of play. Will Big East Tourney SJU show up, or mid-season SJU? TAMU as well - results all over. So, as has been stated, anything can happen from sweeps by either team, to a nail biter 5-setter.

That's good to hear. There was no "watch" link on TAMU's or St. John's schedule when I made the thread. There's still no link on either schedule but if you go to the TAMU opening page (from clicking the link on the St. John's page) and go to the dropdown menu for "watch", it's listed as being on SEC+ but there's no link. Ugggh. Navigating all those pages and links is super hard for me to do (bc of my movement disorder) and then, after all that, there's no link.

I hoped A&M would get at least one match in the tournament where their setter didn't have to be "crafty" (in other words: get double digit kills), but it appears St John's is quite good. I expect the Aggies will find a way to prevail at home.

This is as tough a first-round match as you'll see in the NCAA tournament. I like the Aggies but it's hard to root against Saint John's because there's a Hawaii connection there. I hope for a good, clean match.

After becoming a flash in the pan last weekend, there's a good chance that St. John's will not be able to keep up that level of play.
