Since Rasmussen subbed in for Iosia, she can't sub for Ross anymore this set. Pressure's on Ross to produce I said from the get go, Ross is established and Jolie will come in for Iosia when she’s cold. Best problem a team could have to get to choose whether they want to run Iosia or Jolie as you’re opposite. Sorry to everyone who doubted Ross all season/career long, she’s a major part of this team defensively and offensively and has proven that. So anyone with lingering doubts can simply cancel their Wahine Volleyball Fan Club Membership

Another week of full on practice for Jolie Rasmussen, will only make her better. What a scary thought. Cannot wait to see Jolie, and Hanna, at opposite pins, with Amber in the Middle, who do you double block on, real scary. Well that likely won’t happen until next season so you might be waiting awhile...

The actual "lingering doubts" may be why you would call others out at this juncture when Ross is finally playing to what many have wanted her to do. Move on and enjoy the win and how well your favorite Wahine players are doing without all that nastiness that just takes away part of the celebration of the victory over SD.

Yes! Best way to wake up in the east coast is going to Cindy’s website to see the final score! I would come here first but it would take me a long time to find out by clicking through previous pages.
So happy for the Wahine and the coaches!

Okino is digging balls! Her defense has improved so much. Definitely her best match of the season. No unnecessary knee-sliding, just excellent digging. I also thought that the USD libero kept USD in the game.

Did Rika actually yell out "That was easy!" after a dig? LOL! On the broadcast, you really can't hear all the on-court player chatter. I mean, you hear them say stuff but they're all indecipherable. she said to the SD setter, "You're easy" after she dug her dump. tbh I suspect that she just said "Easy!" because that's pretty common thing for players to say when they easily handle someone's tip or dump in particular. Not so common to hear it in a complete sentence in the heat of the moment ha.

Love the aunties giving leis to the Torreros. Is this a tradition that they always give leis to the opposing team after the match?
And btw who are these aunties? I know they're always there in the same seats, but how did they come about? I think they need their own twitter and instagram account haha

USD post match. These post match interviews are hard. The Toreros are a classy bunch. I have a lot of respect for Coach Petrie and her program.

San Diego's quick offense was not a factor. That was the biggest factor, Newsome played way too slow and safe. Wonder if she were told to do so.
