That’s pretty rude, losing one match doesn’t mean any player was an underachiever. There’s very few programs who have done as well as Texas has. Louisville played a great match and finished that 5th set strong. No they didn’t. This was a “win on a platter” match for Texas. They had no business losing to a crappy 6 acc losses team! You think Nebraska or Stanford loses to these types of teams at home?! NO. NEVER. Texas has the best athletes/hitters in the game, and consistently! It’s why I overly mad right now , bcuz they have no business losing these games. With all the talent they’ve had the past decade, they should have 3-4 nattys already. I’m sick of Stanford and Nebraska winning, over it. Step the !!!!###$$$!!! up Texas. Sheesh Okay calm down, everyone has been upset before it happens. We have talent yes and we had a great season. But a young but skilled team with one starting upperclassman came up short in 5 sets to a solid Louisville squad. It happens. And yes we have some of the best athletes, but not usually the best setting and passing so it evens out.

Looking at the box score, it was the service errors that was the difference. We beat them in almost every category, but had 15 service errors to their 7 Box score tells nada. It was Texas' passing.

Really disappointed. Passing sucked. Jerritt kept Micaya passing despite clear issues. She was not on her game at all. No adjustments. Barely any blocks. O'neal's blocking is awful and our pins did not block well either. I get having off nights but not having anyone to step in and pass or even making a move for the bench is inexcusable.

I never said that they weren't a young team I am very much aware of the fact that they are young. I said we (Texas) are a young team. The cards didn't play like inexperienced players which is great for them and their level of poise! However, we did. We played tight and made some crucial errors. Regardless, both teams have a lot to look forward to.

Difference is expectations and pressure. Louisville wins, well they did something great (and they did). They lose, well they were supposed. Texas I being num 2 seed with home court advantage, expectation is at least final 4 appearance. Louisville stepped up. Texas didn’t.

That’s a tough read, but honest. Sad to say, this team peaked during the first Baylor match and couldn’t play at that level consistently after that. It’s a young team, so I hope this disappointment motivates them to work hard, reload, and come back even better next season.

She seemed to get in a slump as season progresses.

The weaknesses were always there. Just takes a specific type of team to expose the passing. If you able to slow down a pin and play great defense, you're able to beat this team. We just don't have the ball control we need on first touch. Hurt us over and over. Even Syd over passed free balls.

Sheesh There is no "win on a platter" match in the Sweet 16. It's hard to win all the time, even for a great program like Texas. %*$# happens sometimes. Nobody predicted this. If they played again tomorrow, Texas would probably sweep Louisville but congrats to the Cardinals. Today was their day. It happens. Maybe no one predicted it, but is anyone surprised after they barely got past UCSB?

She seemed to get in a slump as season progresses. No doubt, she had her freshman moments. So did Asjia. The more our freshman we’re scouted, the less successful they were, and I’m not sure they were used to being less than unstoppable. On the flip side, I think as this young team develops, Skylar, Logan and Brionne could become some of the best players at Texas in their respective positions before all is said and done. I just hope they’re proud of the season they put together, and use this disappointing finish to motivate hard work and growth for the rest of their careers.
