I'm going to hate every minute of this match Me too. But this match and the Minnesota/Louisville match are both win wins for me. I wish they all could win.

Mainly the irritating female announcer that goes “Point Wisconsin!” in her childish, immature tone. Drives me crazy. So hopefully the a big Red can limit that hahaha really?? lol is it bad that's my favorite part of watching games in madison? i love it I suspect it varies directly with your support of the team... like the truly F-ed up “point... Meeeeshigan!” or the “point ... Penn State! (with drumbeat) or the irrational dislike of “Point U!”

How many have the arena size needed (and have it available), plus sufficient convention space nearby, plus a D-I school with volleyball which is willing to sponsor it and guarantee a sufficient amount of $$$ ?

Nebraska in 4. Hard to beat someone 3 times in one season.

I can't ignore the fact that Wisconsin swept Nebraska in both of their meetings this season, although both were close. I also can't ignore the fact that Wisconsin will be the ones under pressure...
I don't think this will be a sweep.

I love that Wisconsin lilt In all silliness Nebraska is gonna need to come out bombs blazing. The steady calm thing they do got them swept a few times here. Wisconsin annihilated Nebraska twice this season with ease. They broke us down with their serve and our service pressure was gobbled up with ease. Unless those things change tonight.... :/ The statement highlights one of the big differences in strategy between the two teams. Nebraska leaves both their OH players in for 6 rotations, including serve and serve receive. Wisconsin subs out all of their pin hitters when they hit the back row, except Haggerty who serves and then rotates out. Ashburn and Barnes are two of the best servers on the team, and are solid in serve receive.

I think it will be a battle, but Wisconsin takes it. I’d like to see Haggerty lined up against Sweet who has been doing well of late.

I don't care about the cliche, I always want to be the team that has won twice going in to the third meeting.

She is gonna get them anyways. Try to serve rettke into congested patterns and focus on shutting down the pins. Use the russ rose philosophy. Have 2 blockers on haggerty and loberg all night. The last 2 sweep whippings came from the serve/pass. Where Nebraska failed miserably and Wisconsin succeeded with ease
