It's really an insult to Hilley that her and Hames are on the same All-B1G team. She was ten times better than Hames last night. Hames is just not it, y'all. Side note: the volleyball purist in me hates that Wisky can get away with essentially having 3 three-rotation pins, BUT it has let Haggerty and Loberg really focus on rounding out the offense. Also Haggerty has the best RBF in the biz. Congrats cheese-heads!!! Couldn’t agree more about Hames. Hilley is better in just about every facet of the game.

Here's your answer - $$$$$ Money! For a looooooooooooong time Hawaii perennially led the nation in attendance and Dave Shoji was one the sports best ambassadors. Hawaii still is nipping the heals of Nebraska for attendance. The Stan Sheriff is a superb arena. Who the hell wouldn't want to go to Hawaii for a final four in Women's VB @ this time of year? Plus it’s centrally located, easy to get to, and affordable

Congratulations, Wisconsin; Minnesota; Stanford; & Baylor!👍 GO HUSKERS I'm thinking Baylor takes out Wisconsin and Stanford takes out Minnesota and the B1G is on the outside looking in for the championship this time around the block. IMHO, in the end this would be good for the all around health of the sport. Again, IMHO, the nationwide balance of power in women's VB needs to expand. Nothing screams "healthy and balanced sport" like a 16 time finalist and 8 time champion making the final again.

While you are right it might be good for the sport I suspect you wouldn't think it would be good for Nebraska to lose to Baylor in the final four and be good for the sport.

I agree with that for sure. Great volleyball environment and place to vacation as well while you’re there. An added bonus. Unfortunately the committee doesn’t see it that way and could care less.

With this thinking only the best player in each position would make first team.

The disparity between Rettke and Hord, Stivrins, Pittman, etc. is nowhere near as large as the disparity between Hilley and Hames. Hames is just not a First Team All B1G setter, but you've never really shown an ability to objectively evaluate Hames' play, so not surprised by your response.

What is puzzling to me is that in press conferences, why don’t all the reporters ask questions? You’d have a room of at least 5 reporters (sometimes more) and only 2-3 ask questions — and it’s always the same 2-3. Also, why are there long pauses between questions, as if the reporters can’t think of anything to ask or are shy? Some possibilities: 1. Not all are reporters. Some are just assistants or tech support for the actual reporters. Some are there to film or record the audio. 2. They lose interest or courage when the coaches or players are answering questions in uninteresting or less than enthused ways. Some times, antagonistic. 3. They don’t really care to be thorough. If they get the quotes that they need to fit their article narrative, they just want out of there. 4. Some are not there to ask questions but just listen and observe. They figure they’ll get the juicy quotes via phone calls. They don’t want to share the good stuff with other reporters. Like in the interview with Wisky and coach Kelly was shaking his head at the dumb question they asked one of the players. Coach Kelly responded... You know you just made an island 🌴 full of people angry. To which if you listen closely in the background the reporter SAYS, “yeah I know.” No class by that reporter or whoever they were.

Also unable to evaluate Hames objectively would be the coaches in the best conference in the country? With all due respect I’m going to side with, rose, Hugh,Sheff, Shondell, George, over you. You can take up your argument with them as according to you, they have no idea what they’re doing. The Idea a player would be ineligible because the disparity between them and the best player is of course absurd.

And really just speaks to injuries, and lack of good setters in the B1G this year, but sure, go ahead and rely on a logical fallacy to support your claim.
