Poll Updated! You get 4 votes since it's possible for 4 opposites to make the 25-player roster. You don't have to use all of your votes but I would.

I would love to see what any of the others could do against some elite competition. Cuttino is gaining valuable experience with Pomi.....same but maybe to a slightly lesser extent for Rivers with Stuttgart. Plus it would be fun to watch either of the newbies (Fitzmorris, Sweet or Samedy) make their International debut's.

Why is Fitzmorris on this list instead of Plummer?

I was being sarcastic using the term weak sauce which is an annoying phrase that Karch coined. The point is that it's obvious who the top 3 are which is what the poll was asking. The more interesting thing will be if he takes all three to Tokyo or takes only 2 and which ones they are. I don't see him taking all three. It would put the team in a similar but slightly worse position than we saw in Rio with 3 setters. He will take 4 OH's. All 4 of the core (Larson, Hill, Robinson and MBH) bring much more to the table. So...which of the three will get kicked to the curb?

I wouldn't really expect Fitzmorris to go, but I think she's a stronger prospect than several on the list. Fitz-simmons is the shiz

Why is Fitzmorris on this list instead of Plummer? Money. OH on top Club teams make more money than Opposites, generally speaking. For that reason I expect Plummer to play OH this season overseas... which would mean putting her in the poll for Opposite doesn't reflect reality.

Ask me again before the tournament starts in May.

I want Cuttino development She should be getting that in Italy right now. She continues to be VERY streaky. I don't think she is starting consistently for Pomi anymore which isn't good. I hope she can turn it around!

I want Cuttino development Well you’re in luck because she was a part of the 2019 Pan Am Games where apparently everyone developed nicely.

I would be interested to see where you got that information, since we don’t actually know how much most players are making, but if anything I’d expect the opposite, especially for players coming straight out of the NCAAs. Many “big banger” OHs transition to OPP because they can score bigger contacts (especially in Asia). Plummer played opposite for the junior USA national teams, and she’s listed as both an OH/OPP on the USA website. I think most would bet she has a better chance at being successful as an opposite, since there are warranted doubts that her passing will hold up at the international level. Regardless, she should at least be an option, especially over Fitz. Do we even know if Fitz can hit out of the back row?

Plummer can double as both an OH and Opp, Fitz has been good on the left side and the sample size is too small for back row hitting
