Loyola is still a Top 10-15 team IMO even without their top setter. They’re 1-4 and just got swept by Penn State tonight. I meant in that range. They are Top 15... but just at about 15.

Hawaii escaped with a huge win! The set three steal was huge. In the past two seasons the Warriors haven’t really had to face much adversity besides vs. LBSU and to have this will bode well for the team down the road. Especially without Cowell. Offense and defense both struggled. Still a little curious of why Galloway started in place or Anastassiades.🤔 The setting change was also a good move by Wade. Without Cowell, a high ball to the LS may be enough to get by teams outside of the top 15. But against top teams like Lewis, it will not work, as seen tonight. Again, excellent win for Hawaii tonight. I expect Lewis to win the MIVA. So good OOC win. Tomorrow will not get any easier though... Loyola is still a Top 10-15 team IMO even without their top setter. But Anastassiades did start in the first set, but he didn't really provide any offense, and he was also struggling in serve receive, so Wade inserted Galloway towards the end of the first set.

Thanks for the correction. Admittedly, I took a nap and overslept. Only tuned in from the ending of the first set. Guess I missed a lot. Lol. Too bad to hear about Anastassiades. And good for Galloway. There were a lot of bad passes on his part but he’s only a Freshman and FWIW did a pretty good job. I think the quicker sets of Sheward really benefitted him as well as Humler.

Missing Colton Cowell did make a difference in the overall ability of the Rainbow Warrior team. Thank goodness Rado was able to carry the team until other players started to pitch in. Chazz Galloway, to me anyway, is a better replacement for Cowell, while he is sidelined. Chazz is the closest to Cowell's ability in every expect then any of the other Outside Hitters.

Actually fell asleep and ended up waking up right at the ending of the first set... with my luck probably just when Anastassiades was subbed out. Lol Anyway, Galloway also had some cringeworthy passes but for the most part as only a true Frosh did pretty well. I think that setting change in the middle of set three was beneficial to him as he was starting to to pick it up a little offensively.

Noticed during Timeouts, Colton Cowell was coaching up Chazz Galloway, once Chazz was inserted into the lineup. Colton Cowell is truly a team player.

The team we facing tomorrow. Are they as good as Lewis? Loyola lost to UCSD, which in my opinion is going to make a lot of noise this year.

Noticed, that the Rainbow Warrior back row adjusted by moving up, not setting up so deep, when certain Lewis servers served the ball. To me, by making this adjustment, they started to steady out their serve/receive.

At least they're saying Parapunov's name correct now I DM’d Lewis athletics’ instagram complaining about their commentators too lol.

Not expecting Colton Cowell back in action, until he is 100% healthy. Wade does not Cowell reaggravating the injury if he comes back to soon, and being out for a longer period of time. It is still early in the season.

But that’s exactly what it came off as, two young and “dumb” college kids just doing what kids their ages do. It was just very immature.
