Occasionally I see a thread that I am morally opposed to personally or simply holds no interest for me, and they persist on the opening page.
Is there a way to block, ignore or give 'slippery' status to a thread, so I don't have to see it on my page 1?

I'm not sure if there's a way inside VT itself, but I figured out that with uBlock Origin, I can manually block threads. Basically, what you do is right click on the thread and then hit "Block Element." This will block the title, and you can repeat if you want to block the rest of it. It has worked for me.

Why not just ignore the thread and don't open it instead of looking for some block function? That's what I do, I just ignore threads I have no interest in or have some personal distaste over.

i think the best we can do is ignore certain posters and not the actual threads.
i have learned that, if a poster i have on ignore starts a thread, i can still see the thread title but not the first post.
