In December, several posted they'd like a poll asking, of the 2021 seeded teams without a national championship, which one has the best chance to win their first nc. No timelimit. If this poll already ran, just dm me and I'll delete.

I think Louisville if DBK stays long enough. Or Minnesota with all of the talent they have on board.

I think Pitt has the potential if they can bring in another solid transfer on the out, or Vasquez Gomez and Lockwood both have a break out year alongside incoming Transfer Dalton.

Baylor’s best chance was the 2019 season. They’re going to be really young for the next few seasons.

If it's next season, I'd go with Louisville. After that, I don't know. Minnesota seems as good a guess as any.

The level of high school volleyball seems to continue to improve. Covid encourages transfers. These may make it easier for a new school to gain their first national championship. However, Kentucky and Wisconsin increase the number of former champions. Is it going to be easier or harder for a team without a championship to win a national title now?

I think DBK will have Louisville in the hunt, but I don't know about their future recruiting (literally, not a judgment on it), so I am going with Minnesota. A lot came together in Louisville becoming a great team in fall 2021, and DBK 100% deserves credit for that, but I know the Gophers have a top coach too and a lot of top level recruits on the roster and incoming. In an aside, in the 20 plus years I have followed Wisconsin, their down period coincided with not having a player on the roster from the Chicago area who was an All American at some point. While they have cast a wider net in recruiting recently, good to have Wrobel coming in to have that potential. Both of the programs I mentioned earlier are helped by being in areas that produce a lot of talent and having the level of success to attract talent nationally. They will be good, for sure, but no one has to tell me how hard national titles are to win.

It’s getting very difficult to predict off season who will do what. It’s the era of free agency

I am surprised more fans of Louisville, Pitt or Ohio State have not chimed in. Why does it say posted an hour ago when I read it days ago? Do you keep deleting and then reposting this same comment?

Similar comment. Now more surprised. Wondering if more people keep voting for Minnesota, does that mean half favor Minnesota or that there are just more Minnesota fans on VT.

That's kinda weird...
