The thing about Gray is that she will sometimes have very surprising OOS kills. But against a tough serve she will never have a good pass. As long as gray isn’t straight up losing points on SR, I think starting Gray next match should be a no brainer. I would probably lean towards a shorter leash for her for sure, especially if she isn’t producing offensively. I would have no idea which setter should start tho. Just whoever is less tragic i guess?

Match stats. All the outsides were pretty bad, with nobody hitting better than 40% KP (save for Voronkova who had 55.6% KP but hit 0.22). Passing was also only so-so, with Fedorovtseva passing best at 50% positive 19% perfect. The key stars for Fenerbahce were: - Vargas, who hit 64.3% KP and 0.50 on 28 attempts.
- Eda (standout performance both by eye test and stats), who had a whopping 13 kills at 72.2% KP and 0.67. Eda had nearly twice as many kills as Fedorovtseva and triple AC. She also had 4 aces and the most service runs of any player.
Eczacibasi, on the other hand, had a pretty unbalanced offense. Bosko had an average game by her standards, hitting 43.9% KP and 0.314. She had twice as many attempts as the next-highest player, Hande. The middles did okay offensively but combined had fewer swings than Eda.

I had assumed that this was why Thursday's match time was brought earlier by an hour, but here's confirmation.
Translated ...
"Due to the quarter-final rematch of the Fenerbahçe Men's Football Team, which competes in the UEFA Conference League, which will start at 22.00 on Thursday; The time of the 4th match of the Vodafone Sultans League Final Series, which will be played between our club and Fenerbahçe Opet, has been moved to 18.00.
"We wish success to Fenerbahçe Men's Football Team in this match where they will represent our country."

I'm not sure what's going on with ticket sales for Thursday's match. At around 11:20 a.m. Turkish time, the ticketing website started showing the match with it saying there that ticket sales would open at noon. Right at noon, they did. Or so it seems. Upon entering at noon exactly, nearly everything was in red (sold) with only a few tickets available in the third and fourth levels, which were quickly grabbed.
What I think happened is some technical or similar issue resulting in the vast majority of seats not being made initially available. Another theory is that some presale happened, but it seems from Twitter that nobody knows of a presale. So, I think that the rest of the seats will be released at some point. No clue when. That said, if all of those seats actually are sold, then it seems like I'm not going after all.
So, we'll see. The fun of being a sports fan in Turkey ... 🙃

It seems like no one knows exactly what happened although I did see one tweet that said that Eczacıbaşı (the company) asked its employees to let them know by 3 p.m. today if they want tickets, so if that is true, perhaps that's where they all went. It's probably either that or they'll be released at some later time.
So, I'm completely in the dark as far as if I'm going to attend this or not. Of course, I really want to, but if not, so be it. I've been in Turkey enough to not be all that surprised by something like this happening.

If things start going south even a little bit tmrw I want FULL bosko ball. Especially front row. Give her a chance to win by herself and if she can’t oh well FB is stacked offensively

As time passes, it seems more likely that Eczacıbaşı employees have taken up nearly all of the tickets. If true, that's going to create quite a unique atmosphere as I assume that they're not generally avid volleyball fans. However, I'm sure that Eczacıbaşı would prefer a dull atmosphere over a Fenerbahçe-led one, and it seems that they've done an effective job keeping Fenerbahçe fans out. However, in doing so, it appears that they've also kept many of their own volleyball-focused fans out.
I think that more tickets might be released tomorrow but maybe not. I honestly don't know what to expect. This is so surreal. Ticket sales were nothing even remotely like this for the first match of this series, the other one that Eczacıbaşı hosted.
And here I was thinking that tickets to tomorrow's match would be a lot easier to get than they have been and would be for the Fenerbahçe-hosted matches. 😅

Technically the wrong thread but since a 2024-25 one hasn't been created ...
Beşiktaş signed Olivia Rozanski for the 2024-25 season.

As for the move, I'm not sure what to think, but I think it's a good move. And maybe she's getting her bad play out now, will rebound next season.

Vakif’s goodbye message for Gabi is a whole novel of praise.
Jordan’s literally says about her, “was with our club this year.”
Stark contrast - not unexpected really and Gabi really does deserve all the love

JT spent one year with them. The goodbye message to Busa was the same as JTs
