Vakif’s goodbye message for Gabi is a whole novel of praise. Jordan’s literally says about her, “was with our club this year.” Stark contrast - not unexpected really and Gabi really does deserve all the love well yea… Gabi was the captain and has been there for years. JT spent one year with them. The goodbye message to Busa was the same as JTs Yeah that’s why I said “not unexpected” - was just funny to read back to back.

Gabi had even larger shoes to fill (Zhu, who had an incredible run with Vakif) and arguably outperformed expectations. She's also incredibly well-liked by Turkish fans. The team seems to really adore her too.

The most frustrating aspect of this ticket experience is that I could have purchased one of those very few available seats right at the start. But I was so confused and assumed that it was a technical issue and instead waited for them to fix that technical issue. I mean, why are only a few tickets in the 300 and 400 levels shown? At the time, I didn't know about any message to Eczacıbaşı employees offering them tickets. More to the point, for the other match that Eczacıbaşı hosted, nearly the entire facility was on sale, and it took like a day or two for the match to sell out. Plus, both teams tweeted right at noon yesterday that tickets were on sale, don't leave the team alone, etc., like they always do, not indicating that anything was different, that this ticket sale would be so completely different. It never crossed my mind that those few tickets would literally be all that would ever go on sale. I know that something like this happening in Turkey shouldn't surprise me, but, at the same time, I'd never experienced anything remotely like this while buying volleyball tickets here.
I'll still periodically check the ticketing website throughout the day today in case more seats are made available later, but at this point, my hopes are quite low.
I'm frustrated with how much time I've already put into this, not only yesterday but also on Tuesday as I had initially thought that they would go on sale at some point that day with little notice and wanted to get a ticket as soon as they did.
And what was the point of Eczacıbaşı changing the match time to allow Fenerbahçe fans to attend both this and their football club's Europa Conference League match that evening if there would be essentially no Fener fans here?

There might actually be Fenerbahçe fans there. I'm also seeing on Twitter that they were given some tickets, which were then passed on to Fener fan groups.
But nearly all of this is unconfirmed information that I'm reading in tweets. All that I know for sure is that only a small number of seats in the 300 and 400 levels were ever put on sale.

I'm also annoyed for others who wanted to go tonight, both in general as well as specific people I know.

God it’s so hard to get transition points vs FB they just have so much fire power on the pins in all rotations in the front row
