Bergen should be infant of harper anyways imo - better at her position in respect to the rest of the ncaa and was more responsible for the team's success

I guess the significance of their roles could be argued but idk I think reilly / Roddy / beason were the biggest difference makers for that team

So people look at Murray as be the primary difference maker during the 2023 season. But are they wrong? I do believe Murray was a huge difference maker. In the biggest, closest matches of last fall, it was Murray who stepped up with a block or a kill. She was absolutely the difference early last September at Stanford. She had 7 kills in the fifth set in the Wisconsin win. Reilly was good and touched elite as the season progressed. if the choice is Murray or Reilly for Freshman Athlete of the Year, Murray should win… but she won’t. 🏐

Take Reilly away from last year's team and they don't even get a whiff of the conference crown.

I love volleyball much more than basketball. However, looking at Natalie Pott's stats, I'm thinking you can make a pretty good case that she had a bigger impact on her team than either of our volleyball players. I'm wondering in general if it's easier for a basketball player to be an individual stand out than a good volleyball player.

Not shockingly, the B1G coaches and media agree with me… Let us not confuse B1G honors with the answer to the question, "Who was more responsible for Nebraska's success?" Take Harper away and that would definitely cost them a few matches. Take Reilly away and you could double that number.
