Anyone see the love Madison video about Lauren yet? Love how real and open she was. These types of videos always humanize the athlete. It’s really cool to see. How can you not root for her after that? Such a good video. She's an incredible person and athlete. I have a feeling she will make the Olympic roster this time. Well it's like being in grade school again and being picked last... hopefully that doesn't happen this time. It's easy to see, via social media, who is tight and who isn't.

I don't think I could have rallied like Carlini did after not making the Tokyo roster. That takes a TON of inner strength and character that many do not possess. I'm glad she has made peace with things and is still grinding it out. Hopefully she makes the cut this time.

I just have a feeling Karch is going to axe her again. I hope I'm wrong but...

I mean wasn't she our libero in every major tournament that quad until the VNL? I felt especially bad for her because she hasn't been back with the NT since

Also, Justine was having a stellar summer in 2021 and she took that spot. I also think that MC would have rather played OH, just like Cook.

Ok but like how do you not Stan Carlini after that video? 🥹 What a great marketing video by LOVB. I now care to watch her whereas before I was pretty indifferent to the NT setters (aside from questioning whether/why Evan’s is above certain others on the depth chart)

I just have a feeling Karch is going to axe her again. I hope I'm wrong but... Ultimately the best two will make the roster. I just want the team to make the podium. I'm trying not to get too attached to certain players so that I'm not disappointed. I will say this, Plummer looked scary good hitting off of Carlini last summer. It was too small a sample size to make a definitive ruling but any setter that can get KP and probably Cook going offensively is going to be the starter. We already know that Carlini plays the best back court defense and is quickest getting to the ball in most OOS situations. I think LC has a lot going for her at this moment. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Who do you think could actually beat her out and help the team more? For Tokyo she was the number 2 imo but KK had enough confidence in Poulter to take the #3 because she maybe matched better with the star outside personality wise. Almost ended up biting them in the ass when Poulter went down. Even if Poulter is ready I don’t think he can have the same confidence in her coming off of injury and taking the true next best option is necessary.
