It's true. And I did not once violate VTs ToS. Lets just be honest. Much of the banning was purely political and nothing else. Geddy was one of the posters who just happened to be on the correct side of mods politically so no matter how egregious he and other posters were they knew there was no consequences no matter what they posted. Happy....you are right. No one has the guts just to admit it...but you and a handful of others. So is your argument for why volleytalk is/was bad because the "biased moderators" ran off the "best posters", because said "best posters" got too political in their posts and it was politics that the moderators disagreed with? If so, seems like a pretty trivial claim for a volleyball forum, but that's just me.

For instance the argument a few years ago where BYU was absolutely trashed, they’re administration, their players, and their coach for a supposed incident that never happened. It’s perfectly fine if one side is political and anti-Christian but not the opposite opinion . There’s never any consequences is there? It is no secret that many conservatives have been ran off the board. Unsurprisingly, you people really didn’t care if you were losing numbers on Volley Talk due to your bullying. Promoting this site was not as important to you as ‘being right’ and squashing anyone else with an opposite opinion. And you are not and never have been a wallflower and you definitely have strong opinions. Do you not?

If you want to talk about politics and/or religion, you should find a board that specializes in those topics. For the most part, moderators here allow modest talk about other subjects. However, religion and politics were banned because the people talking about them couldn't seem to restrain themselves. They turned every little thing into politics and/or religion. Like you just did with the BYU "incident" which you described as "political and anti-Christian", when any sane observer would say it was mostly based upon racism. VolleyTalk is a privilege, not a right. Most of the people here care more about the sport than they do about being popular. This place is just not going to fulfill your needs of politics/religion discussion. It would be best for you to realize that and avoid those subjects when here or find some other board where expressing those sorts of views is expected and appreciated.

Maybe there's a PoliTalk board out there for the people who only want to talk politics here.

I visit other sporting sites now and again - most dealing with male sports primarily (I support some clubs that have male and female teams). Of such boards VTalk is the most civil I know. It can get truly acid-throwing ugly on those other sites. VTalk is also a good deal more civil than it used to be, which I think reflects the moderation. I almost left at one point, but it turned around.

I completely agree and that’s why I chat on off the net. I’m certainly not the one that brought up BYU and Baylor‘s religion and praying. Was I? And by the way it was presumed to be racism which actually was not at all. Something that few of you admitted.Anyone with dignity and class would’ve immediately apologize to BYU for being so incredibly wrong. BYU wasn’t the one that brought up religion.

If you completely agree, then why are you attempting to prolong the discussion in a political/religious fashion? You are even trying to expand it, by mentioning Baylor unilaterally.
Nonsense like this is why moderators made special rules for politics and religion. There's a subset of the populace that just doesn't know how to let go.

If you "completely agree" that people should talk about volleyball on this forum and politics/religion elsewhere, then why do you continue to push politics and religion at every turn? Relentlessly.
Axe grinding.

Was it ever proven that the Duke BYU incident either happened or didn't happen?
