getting to the finals is the tricky bit. England for example have to get through Germany and Ehkers and Wickler are at that time eligible to compete. However by the time the actual final is on they won’t be. This makes the two team format really hurtful to a country like England. As to Austria taking it out, gosh I could put money relatively evenly on France, Norway, Latvia (host beach would suit them) Ukraine, Poland, I could go on. It will be tough! I haven’t gone over a fine tooth comb as to whose directly into Jurmula and whose playing in May I just know the ENG pool and Norway beat ENG last year so are in the finals already. I do like a team format but for the Olympic spot. Mmmm. That’s tough. But the play off for the country that wins is also a fascinating watch. I hope that the ones who do play off like the Nederland women did last time for Tokyo and we get to see!

Same Norceca Continental Final you’re talking about. As useful and easy to use the FIVB.12ndr website is, especially compared to VB World, the tournaments and entry lists are not official. I don’t know why Theo and Trevor are listed on that particular entry list, nor do I care because it’s not correct. volleyballlife.com/tournament/17604?tab=informationThere’s an 8 team playoff on Friday to determine who goes to the Dominican in May. You can check the event regulations after clicking on that link if you’d like to verify…. that I’m 100% right, and you’re 100% wrong.fair enough. My published source was wrong then, so I suppose that means I was wrong. Yet you double down on that Karenish, 2nd grade "I'm 100% right, you're 100% wrong." attitude. Are you 8 or 68? Do I really have to go back to your asinine post in 2005 accusing Al Scates of underhandedly influencing the NCAA committee to include UCLA that year when you thought they didn't deserve it?
I'll fix that part of this draft. Appreciate the correct info. I cannot explain why Theo/Trevor's names are listed there either, now that you've posted the correct info.
I may attend. Should be a barn burner.

I constantly see your name pop up on volleytalk, in multiple threads. You sit behind your “All World, 6 stars” status like it’s worth something. It’s not. You’ve very opinionated, like to spread false rumors, and often times factually incorrect. Then you go ahead and take the time to blast posts I made 20 years ago to try to discredit me? And you wonder why I call you out for BS posts? To hopefully show everyone on volleytalk they should get their intel from a difference source.

Yes, an internet bulletin board is for opinions. I have opinions, and therefore I am opinionated. You have opinions, but I don't suppose you're opinionated.
edit... OK, removed the below critque of you, that I'm sure you already read.
Truce.
How about you come on here instead of reactively to point out how ignorant posters here are, but proactively, to post things you know that contribute to the fans' understanding of how USAV works?
I appreciate that you posted about the Qualifier on Friday. USAV seems to have a habit of putting on qualifying events in Hermosa or MB that fans would love to attend, and never says a word about them. Then we find out the day before by some random poster who heard about it from a cousin of a player, and by then it's too late to make plans to attend.

Oh, there's a reason. It has to do with some comments I've made over the past couple of years regarding a particular player.
We're currently on a truce so all is good. thevolleymaster is quite knowledgeable so I would actually prefer they post more often.

Have added finishes 11 and 12 outside the Top 10 count, and, more importantly, have noted which of the next 4 tournaments each team is entered into, at present.
============
I am getting a head start on the revision for Monday after Guadalajara --- disregard
Men's Rankings, Top 10 finishes
Yellow means played Guadalajara.
1. NOR, Mol / Sorum, 10820, 2. SWE, Åhman / Hellvig, 10320 3. CZE, Perusic / Schweiner, 8980 (7780 + 600 +600) -- note: (have played only 8, assumes 9th/10th finishes will equal lowest counting) 4. USA1, Benesh / Partain, 8220 -- note: (have played only 9, assumes 10th finish will equal lowest counting) 5. GER, Ehlers / Wickler, 8040 6. ITA1, Cottafava / Nicolai, 7880 7. NED1, Boermans / De Groot, 7840, (6640 + 600 +600) -- note: (have played only 8, assumes 9th/10th finishes will equal lowest counting) = 8. BRA1, George / Andre, 7580 9.
