Suspension is appropriate considering her age and the list of things she did…guarantee she played the “u know who i am?” card…also suspend her for just be annoying…

It will be interesting to see if the bodycam footage is obtained through a FOI request like Jasmine Martin's (WSU) was and posted to YT. If so, hopefully Harper acted as respectfully as Jasmine did. Other people's mistakes make you feel better about yourself? If it’s Murray’s mistake, then YES!!

Get ready to be sad-outside of what the Lancaster County court system does to her, there will be no punishment. At least any punishment that is made public. It will all be handled within the program. Sorry to all of you sanctimonious teatotalers. 🏐

I see a lot of “cook won’t do anything”… yet isn’t that the absolute precedent lol? Texas’s Micaya White was pulled over by the police while driving, failed a sobriety test, smelled heavily of alcohol, and admitted to underage drinking and driving and yet, she played with the collegiate national team in the spring and didn’t miss a single match the following year with Texas... It’s literally how every coach has operated in the past. Beyond that I advocated for her forgiveness. She was a phenomenal player. She’s not defined by one dumb mistake. She grew from it. That's pretty much the precedent with a few exceptions. A Stanford WBB player was stopped by campus police for driving a golf cart on campus while appearing to be intoxicated. The head coach asked her if she had any drinks before driving the golf cart. She said yes and the coach instantly dismissed her from the team. If healthy she probably would have been the "sixth player" on the team the next season.

Are you a wannabe UT recruiter?

Suspension is appropriate considering her age and the list of things she did…guarantee she played the “u know who i am?” card…also suspend her for just be annoying… Disagree with the suspension. As far as the "guarentee" part that is pure speculation on your part and demonstrates animosity on your part. Lived in Lincoln for over 30 years. Been stopped numerous times, including driving after midnight while not drinking (work related). I estimate that at least 30% of the time Lincoln Police officers are surely and demeaning in their attitude toward me. So I suspect she may not have reacted well to such tactics. Tactics IMO that are designed to provoke you and give them cause for additional charges, or in my case driving late in an older vehicle while sober. Many will disagree, but that has been my experience.

I guess I should be happy that this thread dethroned the narcissistic “we’ve won two national championships in a row “thread.

I assume you refer to JJ Hones, a 5th year senior who had a history of injuries and was kicked off the team in 2010 for "violation of team rules". So no, not recently.

And the winner is, Bergen That was always the right answer anyway, and it's sad if anyone doubts that she earned it fair and square. Harper is athletic, but not clutch and definitely error prone. Serve receive is sus, and NOT up to 6-ro par.... The fact that so many teams held her below .100 attack percentage indicates that there's something they are seeing that stops her effectively, which means next year will be even tougher for her if scouts for opponent teams are effective. And, it will all be blamed on this ordeal.
