East End Volleyball Sand Sock Tournament Kicks off 2024 Seas

East End Volleyball will start the 2024 Beach Volleyball Tournament season on Long Island with the Sand Sock Open at Centereach Park at 286 Hawkins Rd, Centereach, NY 11720. The tournament will offer competition for doubles teams, both adult and juniors (18 years old & under). The tournament is made possible by our sponsor Sand Socks which makes protective coverings for player’s feet to protect them from excessive heat and abrasive or sharp objects.
Saturday will offer Men and Women’s doubles in the Open, AA, A, and B divisions for doubles teams plus, new in 2024, a coed 6-player team division.
Sunday will offer play for junior divisions for boys and girls under 18 years old. Junior players are broken down into 18U, 16U, 14U, and 12U divisions.
EEVB runs weekend doubles tournaments throughout the year at Long Beach. A complete tournament schedule for EEVB and other organizations around the country can be found online at VolleyballLife.com. The highest-level players in these tournaments qualify for the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. Lower divisions are offered at EEVB tournaments to give players of all levels a chance to compete.
Centereach Park has 9 beach volleyball courts that have been developed by East End Volleyball in conjunction with the Brookhaven Town Department of Parks, Recreation and Sports, and Cultural Resources. Leagues and junior training programs are run throughout the summer at the park on Monday through Thursday nights by East End Volleyball. The courts are available for public use anytime they are not being used for organized leagues.
Adult beach volleyball leagues are offered for coed 6-player teams on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Junior training programs are offered Monday and Wednesday nights.

Based in the East End of Long Island, EEVB has grown into the largest beach volleyball series in the East End of the country with tournaments along the East Coast, with leagues and tournaments for over 5,000 players annually.
