Oh my God, pull your head out of your backside. They are incredibly partisan…. sometimes I think you people seriously live in a entirely different world. We do. The real one. No, you live in the women of the view world. You only hang out with your own kind and you’re all sanctimonious asswipes.

That article has so many grammatical errors, it made it difficult to read. I do agree that Maher is a democrat, or left-leaning, or Liberal. Yes, he does support the vast majority of democrat ideals, and has frequently put money behind democratic candidates. I would never say that he is a republican or conservative. But the article has so many blanket statements about things with no evidence. I didn’t know Dave Chappelle and JK Rowling were pariahs and never to be trusted again. I didn’t know they were even considered democrats or representatives of the left or whatever the author was trying to say. And the whole article was based off of Maher starting his show back up during the strike. The author claimed Maher was excoriated by the left. I don’t remember that at all. And I don’t remember Maher ever bringing it up. There were just so many things claimed by the author that has no evidence to back it up.

Looks like Berliner did the math and realized there's way more money to be made in right-wing grift than at NPR.

Or - very liberal journalist offers a soft critic of the current extreme position on journalism and censorship by the progressives in this country - gets suspended instead of taken seriously - and has decided to move on.

Would you support the public funding Fox News? Yes or no? No, because Fox is a for-profit enterprise. There is no way there should be any federal money going to NPR. NPR has shown themselves to only represent a single political party. I am opposed to bringing in the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany style journalism into the US.

You are making up a problem that doesnt exist, so you can feign outrage and take action. Its the same thing with voting. There has been no wide-spread or meani gful voter fraud, but you sell the idea that there could to impose restrictive voting laws that target certain groups.

How much of NPR’s programming have you consumed? As for Berliner, there is no way he did not know his OpEd was a serious breach of NPR policy. I would wager he was surprised the punishment meted out by NPR was a mild slap on the wrists. Took some of the wind out of his resignation announcement. Now we’ll see if he goes full Jonathon Turley. There’s certainly money in it.
