I know they’ll be very good, but I agree that I refuse to see Wisconsin in the Top 3 until they tell me who their other left pin will be 🤷🏾♂️ Even if it ends up being orzol, they should definitely still be able to compete with Nebraska. Wisconsin outscored Nebraska, but lost, @ Nebraska and then smacked them at home. They'll have an upgrade in the setting department which imo was one of they biggest drop-offs compared to most other top teams. They've won a national championship with her on the left and two B1G titles. Texas just won a natty with wenaas who hit .06 higher than orzol did in 2022 lol. They don't need two terminal OHs to win, especially when if they run a 6-2 which I think they will. I think ppl are sleeping on them a little they could easily be better than they were last year imo

Why not Devyn? With Fuerbringer coming in, wouldn't Sheffield move to a 5-1? Pretty sure Smrek has RS locked down

We have some question marks at MB. Regardless of who wins those positions, it's two new starters both middles, opposite, possibly setter and less likely but still maybe an outside😭😭 plus a new backrow player, whether it’s Jenna, Reagan, or Reese I don't consider any of Rutherford / Lauenstein / Carlson to be question marks. While there may be a period of adjustment to build connections, they are known high-performers and starters at Top-15 D1 programs. But none of the MB candidates have ever started on a D1 lineup. . .

Sorry when you lose both starting setters and a starting all conference OH that raises some serious question marks. Also no matter what you do with Orzol I still have my concerns for the serve receive. Definitely tons of talent and a ton of upside if the replacements are good but Nebraska Pitt and Texas are a step above at least to start until we see what Wisconsin is bringing in to fill the gaps

For the most part, I agree with with your picks (except maybe setter or coach, but it's within the realm of serious contenders) but no Nebraska players. . . you must like receiving hate mail. Also, did you make a pick at OPP? Apologies if I missed it

As far as Nebraska goes I think they are absolutely STACKED but nobody is the very best at the position though some of them are easily top 3-5

Cook would definitely be on every list of top 5 coaches, but "locked" is too much. For one thing, IDK how you categorically write off Jerritt Elliot, who just pulled off back-to-back titles. You can dislike him as a person, but it's hard to deny that accomplishment. For active coaches DBK, Dan Fisher, Sheffield and Skinner should all be in the running IMO. If you consider retired - Russ Rose, John Dunning, Mick Haley?

I think cook is a POS, but to deny that he’s the best coach in the game is insane What Elliot did in the tournament was insane, but imo that was more of Texas realizing their TRUE potential. I think every non Texas fan, and even some Texas fans, would pick cook. Imo it’s not really close.

Also, did you make a pick at OPP? Apologies if I missed it Nebraska simply doesn’t have the singular best player at any position. I think a Jackson could get there by end of this season though, she’s got the best slide in the country. Need to see a sophomore year leap in blocking consistency.

Also agree.
Nebraska doesn’t have any of the best players.
I think arguments can be made for Beason and Roddy, but it’s not a slam dunk and the ones you listed are better
But the crazy thing is their starting lineup very well may be a collective of top 2-5 lplayers at their position all around, which no other team has.
That is why Nebraska will be good

If we're counting retired coaches, Russ Rose is in a tier by himself.
