My heart wants the Wahine to win but my head says SMU in 4. The Mustangs landed some impressive talent from the transfer portal during the offseason and have a lot more size and depth than UH. Also Tali Hakas hasn’t had an opportunity to practice with the Wahine newbies yet.
I do think UH will play hard though, and I like the team’s chances against USD on Sunday.

Hawaii is going to have to bring a strong service game to keep the more physical Mustangs off the net. Hopefully they do and a byproduct of that is a little less pressure for the young quartet of middles the Wahine have.
My prediction would be the Mustangs in 4.
