The Wahine have no block, no floor defense. SMU can just freely swing as hard as they feel like it. No resistance from the Wahine Team. Not the fault of the Wahine players. This is all on the Wahine Coaching staff, especially Robyn, not going after height in the transfer portal.

Freshman Amber was more viable than Mili. Tho I applaud Mili for being able to run the slide as a freshman

Oregon got boatraced by Pitt in the first set, then lost in deuce sets the next 2. First sets of the year can be tough for inexperienced teams.

Weird to say when down by 14, but this is promising.
This is your typical season opener with a lot of misses and scrambling plays. SMU with their experience just picking up points off of all the broken plays.
Adeyemi looks like she is hitting higher and harder. I think that answers the question of who the terminator is this year- she is looking Willoughby-like with her velocity.
Hopefully hawaii can clean up the serve receive which was a big question mark even last season. The hitter coverage looks decent, but the back row in general was the biggest issue coming in, at least in my mind. I guess that's TBD.
