AZ have a really nice first set 25-15 with 14 kills, 2 errors, led by Wilson with 5 kills, but nice contribution by all. Bartsch of BSU with only 1 kill so far is surprising.

Ava gets a nice dig, promptly subbed out for Hodge. Can we please leave Ava in, she’s much better than Hodge defensively and all the back row attacks are going to Jordan.

I think some of that might be "teaching moments" to put Avery in pressure situations, but I'm just guessing at that. It wasn't something I asked Rita about, although it did seem odd to me when it happened. |
