This is a trap. Hard to go to that elevation and play in front of a packed house and pull out a victory. Rams in 5.

CSU had some weird results but they did beat Kentucky last season and take a set off Stanford week 1 last season and they return all their key players I think. CSU should be a tournament team. Michigan State does not have those expectations.

Michigan State does not have those expectations. CSU is returning 4 of their 5 hitters from last season, losing Annie Sullivan to graduation, plus Emery Herman as their setter (a queen) and their starting libero. Malaya Jones is a very underrated Opposite and the rest of the hitters are in their final season as well. High expectations- wouldn't be surprised if they out-battle Florida. It should be a packed house Friday night for that match.

I don't know as much about Michigan State, but CSU should be pretty good this year. Returns 4/5 hitters, setter, and their libero, with 4 of those being 5th year COVID seniors + a redshirt senior (Jones).
Question for CSU the past few seasons has been serving and serve receive. Their passing was fragile, and the service pressure was inconsistent last year.

Thanking maybe it'll be Pagan unless they move Jones to the left. Serve receive is definitely crucial for CSU.

CSU looked more meh in their exhibition than I expected. Pagan did start at OH and played all the way around. They tried their other OH from Spain in set 2 with a DS sub.
I just hope we can get past the wild inconsistency. Some days it looks like we’ve never seen a volleyball and some days we do things like beat Kentucky.

CSU could theoretically run all three pins six-rotations, but idk if their passing will hold up lol
