After reading the comments, where are the setters? Are setters something we collectively don’t care about anymore? Is that why there are so few elite setters? I mean imagine Texas with a really good setter, very few stand outs this year, I think that’s a shame.

Albeit in a losing effort, Courtney Jackson with 40(!!!) digs in the 5 set loss to Tulsa She ended up with 6.63 digs/set on the weekend (Arkansas was 1-1). The setting numbers are "meh," (I blame her RS-Fr hitters) but Hannah Hogue all around had 10 asst/set, 4.75 digs/set, and hit 7-0-11 for .636 in the two matches. Romani Thurman had a nice offensive weekend, too. She hit .341 with 4.75 kps. |
