Hey nominators! Thanks to all of you who spend time researching players of the week and presenting them to the rest of VT each Monday. It's one of the things I most look forward to on VT.
This spring I put together a tutorial in a VT thread showing an easy way to import tables from MS Excel into VT and it was partly motivated by the few times I've contributed to the POW nominations. It's much quicker and slicker than hand entering each cell into the VT tables. Some of you may find it useful for POW nominations or other table work you do in VT. Not ideal team results for a POW award, but just wanted to give a shout out to a fifth year who is playing her second season at Radford after three years playing DII ball at Angelo State. Radford was 1-2 at the Temple invite on Friday and Saturday.
6'4" OH Sydney Mundkowsky
After hitting 7-6-30 against Temple in a 3 set loss, she had much better stats against FDU and Rider.
2-3 vs FDU hitting 30-5-50 (.500) with 17 digs -- career high kills and digs plus program record for kills
3-0 vs Rider hitting 12-2-21 (.476)
Stats for the weekend 49-13-101 (.356), 6 total blocks, 26 digs
Just wanted to show some love for a player from a school that doesn't get talked about much and figured this thread was the best option 🤗
