So, anyway, Sheffield at Wisconsin has had the same assistants for 12 years. Dildine was a heck of an athlete at Purdue, both as a DS and a basketball player. Gary White, the second assistant, was an Engineering grad. I asked him once, a few years ago, if players missed serves at a greater rate after time outs. He had the answer. Overall, no, but a few players do have statistically significant negative results. Of course, I loved that he had the answer immediately.
