My prediction for at-large bids: winner of North Lake and Richland, loser is out, Brookhaven is out. If Sandhills/Caldwell beat Butler, all three of those get in (maybe all 3 in either way). For the final bid, St. Cloud. That would give Region 5 with 2 bids, Region 10 with 2, and Region 13 with 3.

Think Owens and Richland jump Caldwell and St. Cloud. Still going with my predictions on at-large bids. The one curious one is the Region 5 tournament with Richland and North Lake meeting first.

Kind of figured Sandhills would knock of Caldwell Tech- (didn't want last year's history to repeat itself).

Interesting final poll, surprised Caldwell dropped 5 spots and St Cloud didn't move. Doesn't change my at-large predictions though. Presuming there aren't big upsets in districts; Butler (4)/Sandhills (6) loser would be the highest ranked team, St. Cloud (8), Dallas Richland (9), then Caldwell (12) would be the logical choices.

Owens loses in 4 to Delta in their conference finals. Delta was ranked early, but fell out several weeks ago. Owens certainly has a good tournament history and kept their 2 ranking/seed after losing in Districts last year. I would be surprised if they didn't get an at-large.

10/3i0 result observations:
DC-North Lake and DC-Brookhaven both won as expected last night.
Region 19 was where an upset occurred-Montgomery knocked off Lehigh Carbon

Didn't notice the Region 19 games. Looked and saw another upset, Northampton lost to HACC. Bergen is the only ranked, Raritan Valley had RV. Bergen's only loss was to Lehigh Carbon, so they shouldn't have a problem with HACC. Raritan Valley should beat Montgomery (did in straight sets earlier in the year).

11/1/24 somewhat unexpected result: Rochester CTC knocked off CLC-Brainerd in Region 13-B action.
Elsewhere, it'll be a DC-Eastfield/DC-North Lake South District Final matchup.

Very interesting week of upsets. In the last week, all of these teams lost: 4 Butler, 5, Century, 7 Owens, 8 St Cloud, 9 DC Richland, 11 Bergen, 12 Caldwell (lost last Sat to 6 Sandhills in Conf finals, they were 7th), 14 Central Lakes, 15 DC North Lake. Only 4 make it, so there will be deserving teams out. Any guesses?

I would agree that the four teams that should get the bids are Butler, Century, Owens, and Caldwell. The St Cloud, Richland, and Bergen losses seem to drop any of them behind those 4. Plus those 4 have been in the rankings every week. The seedings will be interesting.
