You have to think this was ally’s “homecoming match” before she dipped lol Right, of all the places Cook could have taken the team (and traveling fanbase) over Labor Day, it had to be in Texas during a summer month to keep a promise that was made when Ally was on the roster. 😭 Fortunately, the forecast for DFW has been updated with lower temps in the 80s this week, but it will still prolly feel like 100+ with their oppressive humidity 😝 At least the match will give some of the club teams in the DFW metro area the chance to see Nebraska in person, and hopefully local recruit Keoni Williams and her friends and family will be able to attend. |

You know how in movies/games where the hero has to go through all of the mini bosses in order to get to the big boss?
If Texas is Nebraska's final boss, then it seems like Nebraska is trying to run through all of Texas's friends and family members to try and get their attention now.

Might happen. Right now the ACC is THE volleyball conference of 2024. Who would have thought the Batenhorst Classic would include the ACC and not include Ally. |
