Oh, and another SMU random nugget:
2012 was the first year I did bracketology. SMU was not having a good year at all, they were just 'meh' in Conference USA. and had a rough stretch to end the regular season, barely even qualified for their own conference tournament.
Baylor, for some reason, had a match scheduled against SMU on the last day of the regular season. Baylor was firmly on the bubble. SMU, with nothing to play for really, somehow shocked Baylor and kept the Bears out of the tournament.
That was kind of a turning point for the SMU program? They have pretty much consistently been a 20-win season team since that point, and their only 'bad' year was 2018 where they were still decent, just not top-ish of their conference. But regardless, Sam Erger has them on another level right now.

Does J Cook have to shoot his horses now after this loss to the Mustangs?

Somewhere there's joy and laughter, and music from a band, But there is no joy at all tonight, in all of Huskerland.

I do NOT understand why we have this new no double rule. Because coaches are mad that they're setters can't set a decent ball. If you're setter is constantly doubling, maybe they shouldn't be the setter until the form is fixed.

Bad week to be the Nebraska practice puke bucket π Did not know the puke bucket was a thing until I saw it in the documentary. I wish I didn't know it was a thing.

In Set 3 5-5 rally, why did Choboy do a dive after her line dig? There was no reason to slide like that?

Seeing Cook reacting on the sidelines is the most entertaining part of Nebraska's whole match tonight, he was not having it.

Wow... this wasn't even a close game. It was an absolute beat down once SMU got rolling in the set

Reilly made some weird choices tonight. On a freeball pass in the third, the ball was received by Murray in the back row. The pass pulled Reilly off the net and instead of pushing it to Beason on the outside, Reilly set it to Murray, who then errored.
