why because it hurt Minnesota in that specific point lol ? Yes, ridiculous rule change and of course it comes into play on a critical match point. minny mangled plenty of balls 😭 no reason to be salty about that. It’s not advantage to Baylor for the setter randomly mishandling a free ball like that either…

MN honestly just too spent to finish that match :/ Did Keegan have a TO left?

Gopher fans won today seeing Wookie benched. I’ll take the win.

I tuned into the match really late. Did Wucherer get hurt? Acevedo sure looked good.
Added: I was posting when the comment about "benched" was added

Gopher fans won today seeing Wookie benched. I’ll take the win. It was needed. I'm also glad we have a solid backup to come in when Wurcherer is struggling and I'm glad Cook actually used her.

Ball crossed net 17x on the epic rally
Baylor got the block touches and back court D that we had vs Texas

put some respect on Ryan mf McGuyre’s name!! I'll admit I underestimated them once again coming into the season. He continues to quietly reload. It's so impressive. This is his 10th season at Baylor. That decade of time has gone by fast, but he has steadily built BU into a consistent top 20 program.

There is potential there for the Gophers. It's early. Let's see if they can pull it together and play a little more consistently good thru the season.

NO DOUBLES ANYMORE LOLOLOLOLOL Ridiculous! Ok, on one hand the last few points did look like a drunken picnic game…. On the other hand I’d rather have those long rallies end with the ball on the floor rather than a refs whistle.

Also, can we finally acknowledge that Lauren Briseño is not just a one-dimensional, passing libero?? Because that myth has been debunked

Two doubles would have been called last year there at the end, would have given MN the win. Young setters take note, having skill is no longer rewarded. Those who said "we're back" after one good match, spoke too soon. Mel fell back into her old habits of ignoring her middles. It's going to be another very long season.
