Unfortunately, Texas is not that good this year. Lot’s of talent but the team doesn’t quite fit together. Unfortunately I've heard this before I don’t think we’re bad and I think we’ll improve but it’s a different situation than last year like you’re referring to.

Unfortunately, getting blown up down the line and having your OHs hitting almost 0 won’t do it y’all I’m sure the coaches know that

I feel like Texas is just trolling us neutral fans, at this point. They're pulling a 2023 "don't pay attention to us, we're not that good" on us. Then they'll come in and wipe everyone out in the final four.

i’m actually sick to my stomach i just woke up from a nap after the texas/michigan football game to this result. This was the price you had to pay for that game.

girl bye it's the beginning of the season. we flopped similarly early-on the last two seasons. we will be find and we will figure it out But what does “figuring it out” look like? To me I don’t see the same possibility as last year yet. And considering the additions and substructions of each year, this year’s start is worse. Would love to be proved wrong! i mean it's blatantly obvious that our core problems are miscommunication and connections with our new additions. miscommunications being that carlson is not used to our second setter (DS) system and so when our DS' call for the second touch, they aren't as confident that carlson will stay off. and i'm not saying our second setter system is objectively better than carlson setting OOS, but this is what worked with swindle last season. but with carlson starting, it's like the players aren't very sure of themselves to make either choice. regarding connections, i don't get how you don't see the same possibility as last year because there are obvious sparks with connections so that is something that can definitely be hammered out and will be as the season progresses. the biggest misconnection is skinner-swindle because jenna wenaas prefers the faster ball that carlson provides, but madi is used to being set high OOS all the time. these issues will be dealt with and we will definitely consolidate our new starters to whatever system we decide to go with!

ok i was already on the Miami train after watching them in week 1, but i did not think they would beat Texas?? what a great win for them!
i think paula guersching was a huge pickup for them. they have depth on the pins now if someone is struggling, and guersching has been very, very low error so far this season.
